HIGHLIGHT
Zimbabwe pairs two of Africa’s most dramatic sights: Victoria Falls and Hwange National Park.
Zimbabwe pairs two of Africa’s most dramatic sights: Victoria Falls — one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, where the Zambezi drops over 100 meters in a curtain of mist and roar — and Hwange National Park, home to some of the continent’s largest elephant herds. It’s a destination built for both adrenaline (whitewater rafting, sundowner cruises) and classic bush safari.
The dry season from May to October is the best time for wildlife viewing, as animals gather around water sources in Hwange and Mana Pools. Victoria Falls is at its most dramatic during and just after the rains, from February to May. The shoulder months offer warm days and clear skies.
