HIGHLIGHT
Kenya is where the safari story begins — endless savannah, the world’s most famous wildlife migration, and a coastline of white sand and coral reef, all within a few hours’ flight of each other.
Kenya is where the safari story begins — endless savannah, the world’s most famous wildlife migration, and a coastline of white sand and coral reef, all within a few hours’ flight of each other. From the open plains of the Maasai Mara to the turquoise waters of Watamu and Diani, Kenya pairs easily: a handful of days on safari, then a handful more by the sea. Nairobi is the gateway for most visitors, with strong international connections through Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
Kenya is a year-round destination. The long dry season from June to October is prime safari time, while January to March offers warm, clear days and calving season on the plains. The coast is warm throughout the year, with the driest months from December to March and July to October.
